DescriptionWhen Vernivia prepared to launch their over-the-counter treatment for bacterial vaginosis, the ambition was clear: to spark a revolution. To move away from the shame and stigma often associated with intimate health, break taboos, and empower women to feel confident (and always have a Vernivia in their bathroom cabinet.)

In this campaign, we highlighted how women often hide their vaginal discharge, from their partners and even from themselves — turning to “solutions” that only make the real problem worse. By showing that there is an actual solution, we were able to inform and educate: vaginal discharge is normal, bacterial vaginosis is not.

The result? The product sold out before it ever reached store shelves and the campaign was nominated for multiple international awards. 

“Fun” fact: When translating the Swedish word “flytning” in Google Translate, you won’t even get “discharge” as an option. However, add “illaluktande”, and suddenly Google knows exactly what you mean.
